Ensure that your device has video and audio capabilities, so the Pro can see your space and help you know where the best location for your devices is.
Prepare for the installation by gathering the devices you want to put in. Make sure you received all of the parts you were supposed to.
Many devices use screws to attach the device. A drill is preferred, especially if you may be drilling into brick or some hard surfaces.
Always helpful to have a paper and pencil handy so that you can jot down a few quick notes as the Pro guides you through choosing devices or installation.
In some cases, parts of the app are needed for installation. It is helpful to have this done before the consultation.
If you are drilling into a wall or something that could make a mess, drill over a plastic bag or put a line of tape under the drilling to catch the dust and pieces that fall.
